On the afternoon of Mar.15, the conference of English teaching coordination of this new semester which was held in the five –floor conference room in the foreign language building was managed by Present Wang Quan. The president Wang Xiaomei, and all the English teachers who teach in the International College , as well as all the staff in the International College attended the conference.

In the conference, president Wang Quan made a conclusion and gave the affirmation on the English teaching achievements of the last semester. He gave many suggestions on the teaching management and the student supervisory work, and hoped all the teachers who could be concerned about each student in international college , support and encourage them just as before. Mrs Peng Ying who is in charged of the cooperation of items introduced a lot of items in details, including the education items, BTEC (HND), the diploma of HND and the teaching features and so on. Brett who is in charge of teaching tasks discussed with the teachers on the group-teaching of students and how to make full use of the teaching books of calculation way of the comprehensive finals of each grade ,the calculation of proportion ,the stratification of the new enrolled students as well. In order to keep the class in the order ,Mr Qin who is a teacher from Foreign Languages Department suggested that we should take some actions to those students who are not good at study , ask for leave at will, and be absent in class as their pleasure. Our present Wang Xiaomei gave an important talk in the conference. She pointed out that there were some challenges in work. However, our teachers should study some different methods which are suitable the students. No matter what kinds of students they are, the teacher should attract them to learn and let the students choose the suitable educations instead of letting the teachers choose their suitable students.

Finally, on behalf of all the teachers ,Mr Zhang who is the dean in Foreign Languages Department showed their determination that all the teachers will try their best to improve their teaching approaches and encourage the students to strive for the win of IELTS.
